I become a grandma this March. In order to welcome my precious grand daughter's arrival, I started a knitting project long ago and finished in time for her. The pattern is from a Japanese pattern book featuring waving lace stitches. It is a long gown and using dp#4 and baby yarns didn't help on the time I needed to finish. I am glad of the result although it is a bit large for the baby.

Stash organization
I am trying to organize my stash of yarns, fabrics, flosses, beads, paint and more then I found it becomes a gigantic task. I started with those IKEA bags and stored all my yarns. All beads and findings go into small containers. Paints, brushes, wooden pieces go into baskets.
In order to make a lifestyle change, i.e. less belongings, I need to go through a separation anxiety process and let go many things. Surprisingly, I feel great after the initial shock of lost emptiness.
